21 March 2010 @ Kuala Lumpur - Bidor - Pulau Pangkor
One year has passed in a blink of an eye. We promised each other that we'll celebrating by going somewhere as a retreat from our busy life. We decided to go to Pulau Pangkor and Damai Laut.
We left before dawn and reached Bidor town at 8am for breakfast. The shop just opened and not many people were in the shop. We had quite a heavy breakfast before we continue our journey to the west.
Another 2 hours we drove and finally we reached the jetty to Pulau Pangkor.
After we crossed the sea, we hired a taxi driver to take us on a 2-hour Pangkor Taxi Tour.
First stop: The Dutch Fort
This little remains of the building has a history of more than 300 years. As I said "little", there's really nothing much to see.
Took a few photos here and there, then hopped on to our taxi to our next destination.
Second stop: Fu Lin Gong Temple
I was quite surprise to see such beautiful temple in this small island. It's well hidden behind the residential area and I bet you won't' be able to spot it without a local guiding you.
Third Stop: Shopping Time
Our taxi driver stopped us at Hai Seng Hin, a shop that sells a lot of products made from seafood. Yumz Yumz~
Forth Stop: Coral Beach
Not many living things you can see at the beach (as in human beings), the sand is so soft and everything is just beautiful. OK I am bias, I like beaches.
It was the last stop of our 2-hour tour around the island. We hopped back to our taxi and went back to the jetty to return to Lumut.
Next up, we're going to Swiss Garden Damai Laut!! It will blow you away. Billy, out.
