Cooling Outing at Camerons [Part 2]

24 May 2010 @ Cameron highlands

continue from previous post...

Right after our unhealthy lunch, we drove to Big Red Strawberry Farm. I think it's the largest place of interest at Cameron, hundreds of parking lots.

They don't just plant strawberries, you will see all sorts of flowers in pots waiting to be adopted by people, hydroponic vegetables and a food shop right at the top of this place.

We back to our apartment after a long morning to rest. Everyone took a nap (I think) before going out for our planned steamboat dinner. Surveyed around and we picked this shop coz they are charging RM10 per person with free flow of vegetables. Haha... I know, cheap vege in Cameron mah...

After dinner, I had to distract JooLi from her friends while the rest went to buy cakes for her! How nice of 'em.

Yup, we celebrated JooLi's belated birthday at Camerons with Starbucks CAKES! Oh the cakes were really yummiliciouuuuuuuuuuuuuuussss.

Funny Face pose

No night activities at town, we we had indoor games just like the day before. Played Jenga. Not a big fan of this game though... kinda boring. =P

But see how some of them had fun! Hahaha...

25 May 2010 @ Cameron Highlands

I used some of the leftover eggs and the extra eggs we tapao back from the steamboat to make scrambled eggs for breakfast. *slurps*

Then packed up and checked out early to go to Kea Farm before rolling down the hill.

Bugs bunny's carrot!!

Both our cars are filled with the smell of chlorophyll after the visit to Kea Farm.

@ one of the shops on the way down

Dropped by Ipoh for lunch for their famous Bean Sprout Chicken and Soya Bean before driving home. Ah I miss the cool air up there, and I miss all the fun shouting and screaming together. Hehehe.. And nice meeting a few new friends too. Billy, out.

Cooling Outing at Camerons [Part 1]

23 May 2010 @ Cameron Highlands

After many failed attempts to meet up for the past don't know how many months, (almost) everyone get to see everyone at Cameron Highlands this time.

Radi, Leonie, JooLi and I

We reached the top in the afternoon, checked in, and headed down to Tanah Rata for a walk.

Waiting for bus?

Convent school - They were having Sunday service at the church inside

Wah! So LANSI!

Tanah Rata view from the school

We went back to our apartment to rest and went out in the evening for dinner. We had some Chinese dishes with rice.

Yum yum~

Nothing much to do at night. We decided to play Pictionary. Everybody got so excited that we started screaming and shouting and laughing so loud the apartment almost collasped. Haha...

What's the word?!!!

Argh!! Checking the meaning of the word using Radi's phone

*phew* Hungry after playing games - Maggie Time!

24 May 2010 @ Cameron Highlands

We woke up early next morning to have our very own soft boiled eggs for breakfast. First destination of the day - MARDI.

Entrance fee - RM1.50 for student

Group pic (without me) - JooLi, LiJing, Nick, Radi, Leonie

Lots of flowers, fruits and plants inside MARDI

Strawberries are all over Camerons!!

Don't know what gigantic melon is this but it's cool

We spent quite some time inside MARDI walking around, taking pictures and buying stuff made in MARDI. Then we head downwards some more to reach the tea plantation.

JooLi and Me

It was very hot and the sun is right on top of our heads. We didn't spend much time there as there were nothing much to see also. We then went for lunch at KFC before continuing our visits to other places. Billy, out.

Yummilicious Birthday Treat For Her

6 May 2010 @ Delicious, Jalan Tun Razak

We've always wanted to dine at this place. Heard that the food there is really good. So we went to Delicious Restaurant to celebrate JooLi's birthday.

SS-ing while waiting for our food

For him - Creamy Pasta with Smoked Salmon and Caviar

For her - All time favourite classic Fish & Chips

We also ordered some peanut butter and banana drink which was reeeeaaaaaally good. Okay I'm a big fan of peanut butter, and that's why I love it. =)

6 May 2010 @ Luna Bar, Menara PanGlobal

Luna Bar is another place where the both of us have been wanting to go to but no special occasion brought us there. So I made it a surprise by not telling her where we were going and she got excited when she saw the sign saying "Luna Bar" at the lift. Hehehe...

This bar is located at the 34th floor rooftop of Menara PanGlobal, which is standing in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Sitting near the window would give you the entire view of the busy city. Plus, you will be able to see the beautiful skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur.

We picked a cozy sofa inside coz it was drizzling a bit outside. I heard that usually there's a cover charge to go in but we went during their renovation, so cover charges are waived.

Hope you don't mind me something-something-ing in my descriptions. Can't really remember the name of the drinks lah. Happened too long ago. Hahaha...

We lepak-ed at Luna Bar for quite some time before heading home. Nothing really fancy, just good food and great companion to spend the day off. Likin'it. Billy, out.
