It was Chinese New Year again! Yeah, the happiest time for the unmarried people to receive angpows. It's also the time where you hear people asking "Got girlfriend already or not?" and "When you getting married?" bla bla bla...

Skip the nonsense, let's go to the feast. Reunion dinner for my family is quite simple, yet we always end up having way too much leftovers. Well, the Chinese believe that we should have leftover food so there'll always be food on the table.

Relatives normally visit my house and stay for dinner on the first day of Chinese New Year. We will have vegetarian food that day.

This is the first time we've ever taken a group picture with everyone during Chinese New Year. It was really fun having so many people in da house.

With all the food around, I overate as usual and gained back the 2kgs I lost when I was sick. *sigh* Time for more workout! Billy, out.

After several birthday celebrations in Wave 1, the party rocks on with my loved ones!


Wanted to go somewhere else for dinner at the first place. But it was very packed so plans gotta change. JooLi and I decided to head on to La Bodega.


Food was superbly good, especially the lamb meatballs. *slurpz* But it's a 'lil pricey for just 3 biji of meatballs. Anyway, pasta was pretty yummy too!


Then we ordered a little cake as our dessert.



30 December 2010 @ My House

Finally, I had a pretty decent dinner with my dinner on the exact date itself. Mom decided to cook that evening. My brother made it home from Langkawi just in time to celebrate with me.

And I made Strawberry Triffles for everyone! I made my very first dessert on my own! And guess what, it turned out (quite) great! I'm proud of mah-self. ^^


And I have to buy my own birthday cake that day because everyone was busy. It's a good thing tho, I get to pick the flavour. Wheeee...


Had a great birthday month for me. Thank you everyone that spent time with me, and the presents! And also thanks to those that dropped me a message on Facebook or SMS. (tho it's kinda late to thank the peepz now aye? Hehe...) Billy, out.

My 2010 Christmas

24 December 2010 @ Aunt Annie's Place

Almost every year now, I spent my Christmas eve at Aunt Annie's place with my family and her family. This time around, we had the most gigantic turkey with stuffings ever, cheese baked cauliflower, tri-coloured potatoes, salad, homemade sausages, christmas pudding...


...and our dessert!! Nyam nyam nyam!! Everything was so tastilicious!! Thanks to Chef Aunt Annie! =)

On the exact christmas day itself, I went out to meet with some friends from work. We each brought a present and draw lots to determine which present you'll get.


Wilson got a towel from me. WoonLee got candles from Mike. HanChin got manicure set from JooLi.


Nick got some skin spray stuff from HanChin. Mike got a book from Wilson. JooLi got a notebook from WoonLee. and I got a Parker pen from Nick!


Food and service was terrible at Plus8 that night, probably short of staffs. But we had one hell lot of fun. Laughing all the way and taking plenty of photos with our gifts.


25 December 2010 @ Garden Cafe, The Curve

Right after the gift exchange, we meet up with Foong and Radikah. We talked and talked and talked until the waitress had to shoo us away to close the shop. Haha!


It was a very fun christmas for me, being able to spend time with families and friends. Now I have a nice new pen to use in office! Billy, out.
