Was home alone few days back. Digged the fridge for food and found some stuff for fried rice. And.... TA-DA!!
I call it the Sunshine Fried Rice. (Coz it's all yellowish and orangy colour) =P
Ingredients:
- 2 bowls of cooked overnight rice
- 1 onion
- 1 potato
- 1/2 a carrot
- 1 egg
- 100g minced pork
- 50g bacon chips (can get from carrefour non-halal section)
Instructions:
Basically, everything is sliced and diced until quite small. Fry the potato first and take it out. Then stir fry the onions, carrots, pork and bacon chips till it's cooked and pour in the rice and potatoe. Add a pinch of salt and soya sauce for flavouring. Lastly add in the eggs, mixed the eggs well and switch off the fire.
The aroma of this fried rice was like no other I've cooked. All because of the bacon chips. Oh I love the bacon chips. Gosh, my blog turning into a recipe blog? o_O Billy, out.
